Apprenticeship

For those Intersted in finding out if a career in horse training is for them Burgeon Sport Horses offers an apprenticeship program. Here you will learn the ropes of what it takes to run a horse business. Apprentices will be required to ride horses at a variety of different levels including those just being started under saddle. Apprentices are also required to commit to at least 6 months of work, at least 2 says a week. Tasks include daily chores, feeding, show grooming and setting jump courses. Show opportunities are also available. Apprentices are welcomed to stay on and pursue a paid teaching position as an instructor in the riding school.
